"L" is an elegant à la carte restaurant conveniently located at the finest location to afford a relaxing view of the beautiful lawns surrounding the hotel pool area.
The restaurant looks its best in the evening when the imaginative lighting invites a lovely play of colours that converges with warm materials in the interior and the mystical beauty of the nearby forest park of Zlatni rt. The menu celebrates the tradition of Croatian cuisine, adding new and interesting ideas suited to the taste of modern gastronomic nomads always in search of freshness and diversity. Croatian cuisine has always been exposed to many influences, especially from Italy and central Europe. Therefore, guests are able to choose from an array of delicious dishes cooked in a modern style, always with the freshest locally-grown ingredients, mostly from Istria and other parts of Croatia. The wine card dominates the drinks menu with over 200 different domestic and foreign wines and champagnes. Experienced sommeliers are always at your service to help you pair wine and food in the best way possible.

New “Design Food” menu at Hotel Lone
Hotel Lone’s Head Chef Priska Thuring launches a new menu for the hotel’s fine-dining restaurant “L”, closely linking food and design. Healthy, light dishes will be served at lunch time, while in the evening the restaurant transforms into a romantic garden where guests can enjoy more unusual creations during a leisurely dinner. Starters are set to include “Fois Gras Magnum”, a cold appetiser presenting a new, savoury take on the well-known “Magnum” ice cream sticks. Spicy Thai Soup will be a modern re-interpretation of the classic tea ceremony – a raw oyster is served on a plate, accompanied by soup and a tea bag filled with spices, allowing guests to control the intensity of flavours. Instead of the traditional tea condiments – lemon, sugar and milk - Priska will add grilled lime, coconut milk, and ground roasted peanuts. Seabass, baked and presented in paper, will stimulate all the senses. As Priska explains, “First you hear the rustling noise of the paper as you open the parcel, then you are hit with the smell of sea, spices and herbs; this is followed by the visual element of seeing the fish, and, finally of course, the taste. Thanks to our new menu dining at Restaurant “L” will be a real culinary journey!”
